Fire Water, Drainage & HV Power Upgrade
The Fire Water, Drainage & HV Power Upgrade Project was undertaken to improve critical site-wide infrastructure, with a primary focus on upgrading the fire water system in accordance with relevant Australian Standards. The project aimed to enhance site safety, compliance, and long-term operational reliability.
Works included the installation of upgraded fire water infrastructure, site-wide drainage and de-watering improvements to address water management issues, and a high-voltage power upgrade. The drainage works significantly improved the site’s ability to manage surface and groundwater, while the HV power upgrade provided a reliable power supply to a new underground pump station.
The successful completion of this project has strengthened site resilience, improved safety and compliance, and delivered robust infrastructure capable of supporting ongoing and future operations.
Works included but were not limited to:
Supply & installation of in-ground pipework (Fire Water)- DN160 PN16/SDR11 HDPE Pipeline
Supply & installation of in-ground pipework (Drainage)- Twin DN250 PN10/SDR17 HDPE Pipeline
Supply, Fabrication & installation of above ground pipework (Fire Water) - DN150 SCH30 Galvanised Steel Pipeline
